Less is more tall card

I seemed to have a block about making the Less Is More card this week, although I have so many stamps nothing seemed appropriate to use for the sketch, finally decided to use these flower stamps from Hero Arts, stamped, inked and layered and button added, sentiment by Penny Black. I'm not happy with the amount of white space at the top of the card, seems out of balance and I may trim it down a bit.

  1. Joan don't change a thing! Your card is perfect and is balanced really well imho. Sometimes it seems like there is too much space but as i was reliably told, there is never too much space...

Struggled with this weeks challenge, i prefer to use small tall cards instead of DLs. Experimented with my entries this week instead of being happy with what i had done. Realised that all my stamps are too large for such small cards hence the experimenting lol..

Thanks for dropping by and commenting, much appreciated:-)

  2. I think it's fine just like it is. It does take a bit to get used to all the white space! LOL!

  3. Please don't cut this card down, it's perfect as it is!
Your positioning of the band and the flower embellishment is just right... about a third of the way down the card.
    It's really pretty!
    See you next time Joan!

  5. Hi Joan
your card is AB, please don't change it!
I al;ways maintain we accumulate too much stiff, therefore, can't make things at times!
    Great to see you

  13. I had this problem too when looking at my card but you get used to the amount of white space on a tall slim card...it looks strange compared to other shapes and sizes I think.
Your card looks great as it is X

  14. A beautiful card Joan. The textured card base makes it less plain (if that makes sense) so keep it as it is. x
