Not a Christmas card !

Change from making Chrsitmas cards today. Its been a lovely day here so spent a couple of hours in the garden cutting back the herbaceous plants and cleaning up the soggy leaves from the lawn. Fashionable stamping challenge this time is Music so dug out this Cornish Heritage stamp and the wording from a Stampman set. The music piece is a Just Rite background stamp. The Background paper is done with a Stampin up jumbo wheel, versamark ink and pan pastels so I think that could count as a make your own background paper ? I have just got the music die and I think it will be very useful.

Silly me ! I had not posted my card on to the challenges, not the first time I've forgotten to do it either, must be a senior moment thing.

  6. Ha Joan... I have senior moments on a regular basis!!!
Glad you have joined in at Our Creative Corner this week, as you are aware we love to see all kinds of work and visit many Blogs, meet new people etc etc, but of course I visit you often, so I am thrilled to view this card and comment from the Challenge point of view. Yes it certainly qualifies, there is no Pp and you as usual have made a great job with the Bg, the colour palette is fabulous and it is perfect as a backdrop to your little girls lime Green dress. The music die-cut creates a wonderful sense of movement.
    Smiles:)

  9. The gorgeous fairly muted purple background offers so much support to that vibrant image sitting there playing her piano. I think it's sensational what you've combined here. The die is perfect as well as the musical notes and I love the chosen sentiment. Such true words!

Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us at Our Creative Corner. Best of luck and we'd love to have you visit again next week!
