Just playing

Well I've spent a couple of hours just playing about, I started to make a tag with my new sizzix rounded tags that I got for Christmas, then it looked a bit lost so made a background for it from a piece of the back of 2012 calender. Had a few problems down the line, I used some ancient gold embossing powder on the frame and it didn't come out gold and boy did it smell horrible,so thats gone in the bin, luckily I had some more which I used on the background. My cosmic shimmer sprays don't work anymore so I got out my mini misters and I don't know when I last used them but they were full of pongy liquids too ! it was probably only water and mica but I guess the water had gone
stagnant, they have been duly well washed now and put away empty and clean! Then I tried to use my viva Inka gold and it has dried out even though its in a pot with the lid screwed on tight, don't know if there is anyway of reviving it, I'm very miffed as I've hardly used it, ended up using some treasure gold in aquamarine ( I now have aquamarine rims on my finger nails !) The stamp is a Kaisercraft which I got at Port Sunlight and never used until now, background  stamp is Justrite Newsprinttbackground. I don't know whether to make it into a hanging or use it as a norebook cover, will decide later!

  3. Hello Joan
Happy New Year to you I hope it's going to be a good one.
Playing around seems to suit you because you've come up with a beautiful project.
I think you should use it for a notebook, it has such an inviting feel to it.
I am afraid to look in my inks and paints drawer because there are quite a few things I have not used for a while as well, so I may have some pudgy smelly stuff sitting in there!
    Smiles :-)
