Magnolia

Just got round to doing my dictionary page for the Craftbarn Challenge which this week is the letter M but only words beginning with Ma /Me. After my usual sitting studying the dictionary and getting so interested in various words I forget what I started looking for! I finally decided on Magnolia. As usual stuck my dictionary page to a piece of card and started spraying with dylusions but I had forgotten to gesso the page first and all the colours seemed to just soak in the paper and it looked a mess, had to dry it off, gesso it and start again, disaster as I tried to peel of the masking tape over the wording as it peeled the words off too, had to scan the definition from another dictionary and stick it on. The Magnolia stamp is from SeeDees Gothic Magnolia set and the vine is an old Penny Black stamp.
