Winters song

Whay Hey ! it's time for my favourite challenge again at Scrappy Mo's Rudolph Day Challenge.  I have wanted this Penny Black stamp for a while but it was always out of stock and then I thought it might be a bit complicated to colour but anyhow finally got it from the US and found that with a bit of simple masking of the trees and a few bits of torn paper it was a quick card to make, I popped up the little robin to make him stand out more and there is a lot of glitter too.  I was going to add some puffy stuff to the branch but having ruined a card before by applying too much decided enough is enough!  I'd also like to enter

  15. This is a real beauty Joan and I can see why you've been wanting this stamp because it's fabulous. I love everything about this card. The subtle use of colour behind the snowy hills looks amazing and it really doesn't need anything else as it already has everything it needs. The Robin in the foreground looks superb and I really like the embossed snowflake background. Thank you for joining us at Fashionable Stamping challenges. Sandra X

  28. Wow! How exciting to meet a fellow stamper who is a nature lover! Joan, thank you for your recent visit to my blog - your heartfelt comment warmed my heart in return. So glad you visited, so I could discover your blog. Love your blog title! And your card is beautiful. Lovely coloring and shading, and a gorgeous design! What I especially like is the simplicity so that the gorgeous image shines though. I've pinned your card because I just ordered that very stamp last week! It should be here any day, and I hope to create something as pretty as your card!

I am your newest google follower, Joan. Thanks so much for making my evening bright and shiny! hugs, de
