more inky bits and pieces

Had a friend round the other day for a bit of crafting, we haven't seen each other for ages so it was more talking than stamping but while I was looking through a file full of inky backgrounds I found these white embossed images so last night I decided it was time to make something of them. Added more distress inks to the backgrounds as they were a bit pale, bleached out the flowers and painted them with distress inks, then just matted and added the sentiments and a few punched butterfles.
Went to the Harrogate Papercrafts show yesterday, not the best of shows, gets smaller every time BUT Inkylicious were there so spent quite a lot of time watching Emma do some fabulous demonstrations, of course I did have to buy a few more stamps and they actually had the Oxide distress inks so loaded up with them, will be interesting to see how they work. More Woodware stamps from the Stamp Hut and own make stamps from Whichcraft ,plus after seeing their demonstrator using the Neo Colour water soluble wax pencils I now have them to play with ! just need more hours to play LOL

I've never been to the Harrogate show for ages, sounds like I would have been a bit disappointed, but like you would have found something interesting to pop in my basket.
