January Blues

Well the title says it all !  I have never liked January, always a dull month after Christmas and New Year but didnt even have them to look back on this time. Did have a lovely Christmas day with our daughter and husband but that was it.   The title actually refers to the latest challenge at Try It On Tuesday and I chose to do a journal page, just sprayed with glimmer mists ,bits of stencilling, random stamping, some splatters which don't show up much on here and three jolly snowmen to cheer it up a bit. I'm sadly lacking in inspiration these days, Mr Mojo seems to have permanently disappeared. I hope you all will visit the challenge blog and visit the DT who have some lovely workon there

An uplifting quote

Time for the first challenge of 2021 at Try It On Tuesday and we are asking for Uplifting Quotes. The team have some fab samples on the challenge blog so hope you will pay them a visit/  I have done a journal page for my DT piece using papers and stamps from the first Indigo Blu box magazine.  I thought this quote was very appropriate for the times we are living in right now.

Happy New Year Everyone

I'm hoping everyone is keeping safe and enjoying new Christmas crafty presents.  I didn't ask for any this year other that a new paper trimmer which my lovely daughter got for me, however I do have rather a lot of new stamps that I accumulated over the last few months.  This is one of the latest ones I got from Crafty Individuals and I love it .  I made a background with brusho powders and lots of water, stamped my flower and coloured it with brusho powders mixed with water, added a bit of stencilling and some doodling round the edge and mounted it on a piece of DP.  I'm going to try entering a few challenges this year and I'd like to start by adding this card into Happy Little Stampers water colour challenge
