Its time for a little mid month inspiration at Stamping Sensations and the team have some fabulous cards to inspire you. For my card I have used a very large Woodware stamp for the focal image, the little flowers are from the same set. My background is inked with Oxides and stamped with a script stamp from Cover a Card series. Hope to see you joining in our challenge but do remember we must see stamping as the main focal part of your entry. This month we are sponsored by Bee Crafty who have a lovely on line shop and there is a great prize to be won.
Its time for another challenge at Try It On Tuesday and this time its Hot Hot Hot.! Use Hot colours, a visit to a hot country or even a hot drink. We look forward to seeing your take on this theme.
Mine is a journal page, using various ink sprays, some Inkylicious stamped vines and this very colourful parrot cut from a magazine. The stamped and fussy cut flowers are the last few from a big batch I made ages ago, need to have another marathon stamping and cutting as they are so useful to have ready to add to a card etc. The design team have some fab inspiration for you over on the challenge site so hope you will visit them,
Hard to believe we are round to September already, it's been such a strange year with the weather being so unpredictable, today we have had sunshine and heavy downpours and it's quite chilly too.
The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is Boys and Girls, any age from babies to teens. For my card I have used a pre-printed Lili Of The Valley image and coloured it with Pro markers. The wording is an old Penny Black stamp. The Teamies have some fabulous inspiration over on the challenge site to hope you will pop over and take a look
Another card with stamped images from the file, I do know this is a Stamping Bella and was my friends stamp. There were also various bits of DP with the images stamped on to paper piece the dresses so just a bit of colouring and fussy cutting, some die cut and embossed mats and another card for the pile. There are a few more of these so will make them up later. I'd like to enter my card to
The other day I came across yet another file full of stamped or printed digital images so I am on a mission to try and use some of them up. I think the stamped ones are from when I have had friends here and used some of their stamps as I don't recognise them as being mine. There were a few of this cat which I know is a Penny Black stamp as I do have another one in this series. After I'd coloured it I couldn't find any papers to match so coloured some with distress oxides. I'd like to enter this card into

It's time for the new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and for our September challenge Debs has chosen "Winter Wishes". For my card I have used a Penny Black image, snowflake embossing folder and a freebie sentiment.
Another month flown by and I realised I had not made a card for the Rudolph Challenge I haven't missed a month up to now so don't want to fall at the last post ! This is one of the cards I am making kits of for a group of 40 plus non crafters to make in November, someone kindly volunteered me to do it and I know they had no idea of the task they were setting me! For this card I have used a die I bought in The Works, ( cuts beautifully) cut it in gold and red and glued them together, it''s a very simple card but I am quite happy with it.
Make My Monday challenge this week is "Dance" gave me a chance to use this Stampendous stamp that I really like but it gets very little use. I love that it takes so little time to make, the verse is part of the stamp, just had to add a bit of colour and some little crystal drops for the rain.
While I was in the mood I also made another card, this time using a creative expressions stamp for the dancers and some stamps that were free with Creative Stamping last year.
Its time for another challenge at Try It On Tuesday and this time we would like to see what is in your garden ? Mine is a journal page this time, flowers are stamped, bird, bee and butterflies cut from some free papers that came with a magazine. The design team have some fabulous inspiration over on the challenge blog so hope you will visit them.
Time for a mid month bit of inspiration over at Stamping Sensations and the design team have some lovely samples to show you. I'm a bit disappointed at how my card looks on here ,it is brighter in real life although I do find that the oxide inks do tend to look a bit duller than the ordinary distress inks, maybe its just how I use them. For my card I have used a favourite TH background stamp and a butterfly stamp that was free with a magazine. There is still plenty of time to enter the challenge but as we are a stamping challenge we must see stamping as the focal point of your entry.
A journal page for the new challenge at Try It On Tuesday which is Wish You Were Here. Any kind of project/medium is welcome as long as it follows the theme. Do visit the challenge blog and see what the design team have created. Hope you will join us.

Anne, Morrow Lindbergh. I haven't heard of this book or the author so my piece is inspired by the title which is Gift From The Sea. The little saying is so true, I love going to the seaside and it does make me so happy so that is a gift from the sea to me. I just used a couple of bits of DP and computer generated the saying. The large shell stamp is a very old one, had quite a search to find it. stamped it with Memento Peanut Brittle, overstamped it with Versamark and the coloured it with gold and pink mica powder to get a lovely shine. I'll probably stick this is my art journal.
Time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and this time Caz has chosen the theme of Its Snowtime. Well I don't know about you but we have had the strangest weather over the last week, hottest day on record one minute , amazing thunderstorms and torrential rain, we did miss the hailstone storms which have been all around us, did someone say it's summer !
For my card I have used a Hunkydory topper and paper from old stash which I am trying to use up.The winter wonderland stamp was free with magazine a couple of years ago. The design team have some lovely cards to show you over on the challenge blog so hope you will visit them and join in our challenge.
