Texture

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is "Texture"  lots of lovely design team samples over on the challenge blog so I hope you will visit them.  For mt card I have used white texture paste through a stencil, added some extra stencilling and the white rings are acrylic paint using a spray bottle top and the smaller ones with the top of a pencil, The big stencil and the hot air balloon are from a boxed set by Indigo Blu.

It's about time

 I.m catching up on a few masculine cards at the moment and seen a couple of challenges about Time/clocks which inspired me to have a playwith this Woodware stamp that I haven't used for some time.Stamped a background with a very, very old Hero Arts background stamp, I have 3d'd the clock faces and the bluebird to give a little dimension, the sentiment is an even old stamp, I do like to dig the oldies out now and again !

Butterfly

 I said I was going to try and use my embossing folders and stencils more and I have used both on this card.  The back ground is an embossing folder that was free with a magazine, it was with some peacock stamps so I think it is meant to be peacock tails, whatever, its quite a pretty folder. Just coloured it lightly with distress ink. The butterfly circle is an old Spellbinders set and the butterfly was also a freebie with creative stamping magazine . There is a little stencilling on the circle too.  After I had coloured the butterfly with Inktense pencils I decided to go over it with glitterpens, it's very sparkly in real life!

All Loved Up

Back sliding again!

 Can't believe another week has flown by.so much for me updating my blog more frequently. In mitigation I have been trying to plan a family get together for my husband's 90th birthday next Sunday. we decided against a big party as we still don't feel too happy about being around too many people so are having an afternoon tea and cake get together for the family members who have been there for us through the last two years of the pandemic.   Anyhow to get round to my post !  I seem to think I have made a similar card to this before but looking back through my files can't find anything.  Background is distress inks, the stamped circles are from two different old sets and the die is a memory box one I've had for years.
