Make it magical

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is "Make it magical" pondered a bit on this one , didn't want to do fairies, don't have many fairy stamps and can't think of anything different to do with them so remembered this old Stampendous mermaid stamp which I think is the prettiest mermaid ever ,the topper is a piece of inky card from my stash as is the yellow bit at the bottom, stamped and coloured her, tail is very glittery done with sparkle pens and then after a search found some paperclay shells,starfish etc, the background is from a paperpad.  I am trying to use up stuff I already have (far too much !) but seem to be fighting a losing battle .  The design team have some fabulous samples for you over on the challenge blog so I hope you will pay them a visit.

Summer Blooms

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is Summer Blooms and for my card I have used a Woodware stamp called Bold Blooms, the background was inked with distress inks and the flowers are water coloured.  We welcome all mediums on our challenge but the main focus but be on the challenge subject.

This was the first card I made for this challenge but decided it didnt look very summery. more autumnal.

Another Woodware stamp called Echinacea, I do have rather a lot of their flower stamps and I,m sad that their stamps are no longer available , too many stamp companies disappearing.
