Big Butterflies

Trying to get some semblance of normality into our lives after the traumatic last few weeks. Today my OH and I have been out for the day, to Helmsley for lunch and then this afternoon a lovely walk on Rievaulx Terraces, beautiful sunny day, wild flower banks covered with primroses, cowslips and wood anemones and the beech trees just coming into leaf, a few bluebells starting to show too, the views over the Abbey are stunning.  Anyhow back to the crafting...  my sister sent me this amazing butterfly stamp for my birthday and I have just started to play with it, its huge, this is a 6x6 card and it doesn't quite fit on it. I have stamped it just in black and white here and I think its stunning just as is !  I may add a bit of bling later but for now I'm just loving the simplicity of it.  I'm entering it on these challenges

That's Crafty - Black and white with a splash of colour

Simon Says Stamping Blog - Use a big stamp

Fashionable Stamping -flying things

I also made a blue version of the card

Off now to play with some of the coloured versions I stamped and coloured.
