This is one of the cards I nearly threw in the bin, I love this stamp but never seem to be able to make a decent card with it, however I have persevered and finally finished it. Think I've been a bit heavy handed with the Twisted Citrin ink but its such a lovely spring colour. Cheery Lynn doily die and Creative expression delicate fronds die.,lace flower from stash.
I'd like to enter this into these challenges
Fantasy Stampers - In the Springtime
Luna Girl Moonbeams - Flowers and birds
Eureka Stamps - Spring is in the air
Vintage Stamping - Layers ( at least three)
Ooh La La Creations - Feathered friends
This card is so lovely and does have a great Spring feel. I think I own that stamp too and have never known how to colour it. I really like the way you have coloured the bird. It looks very real!
ReplyDeleteThe inky lemony colour looks great!
Very pretty springtime card, I love the bird and the bright green!
ReplyDeleteI love this shade of green! It's the color of the leaf buds on the trees when they first appear. In my crayola box it was actually named Spring Green! And such a sweet little bird on her nest. Thanks for sharing this beautiful card in my Spring Flowers and Birds challenge at LunagirlMoonbeams.com ~ Karen
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you persevered Joan and it's a beautiful Spring time card.
