Wax paper resist

Over at Stamping Sensations it is my turn to do the mid month post and to spotlight a technique. I revisited an old technique, using wax paper and embossing folders and these are just a few of the cards I made using this technique

Using Crafty Individual stamp, background is papermania tissue paper, some net, lace and ribbon and butterflies and flowers restamped, fussy cut and popped up with silicon gel.

Close to my heart flower stamp,Hero arts butterfly and paper artsy words on this one

and this one with my favourite Penny Black stamp, just added a smidgeon of colour and an extra butterfly

  1. Three very beautiful cards Joan. I especially like the second one with it's warm, sunshine colours and that gorgeous silhouette stamp and it's the perfect finish for me with the addition of that pretty butterfly :) X
