Yeah ! its Rudolph Day Again

I was so happy with this card when I finished it but I am so disappointed at how it looks on here !  It is actually gold and blue but I can't get it to look gold  whatever I do.  Last Christmas my Sister sent me a beautiful card made with these stamps and dies in red and gold, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them, , there are six dies and two sheets of stamps in the sets , I love the star swirl and all the wording stamps too. I was happy to see that Mo is doing the Rudolph Day challenge again , I'm hoping to keep up with it every month this year.  I was thinking this card will be a good one to do batches of and maybe I will get round to using my Misti to do the batch stamping.

This would be a great one to duplicate on the misti!

  5. Hi Joan,
    what a very gorgeous card.
I love everything about this wonderful design and your work is excelllent.
Isn't it such a great pity when the camera lies about the colours, but looks fine in the false silver colour.
Thank you for joining the Rudolf Challenge with this.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L. GD

  13. I hear you about the disappointing photos, but this one looks great! Love the deep royal blue with the rich gold used on the blazing star. It's a pretty & CAS layout, but very effective in the elegance & richness of the colors. TFS & I just became your newest follower.

  14. This is beautiful Joan and the gold does show up, it is terribly difficult to photograph gold and siver. The large star is beautiful with its pretty gold trail and the complementary sentiments and sweet little stars. x
