This month at Stamping Sensations the challenge is to use your favourite stamp.
For my card I used quite muted colours for the background, oxide distress inks twisted citron and worn lipstick and a bit of text stamping. I love this poppy stamp from Carabelle Studio, whats not to love about a poppy stamp LOL. I had a bit of a problem painting the poppy head over the oxide inks, everything I used seemed to just disappear into the background, eventually used my very old charisma pencils. Do hope you will join us in our challenge this month, we are a stamping challenge so your entry must have stamping as the focal point.
We are sponsored this month by Visible Image who are offering a prize of £35 to spend in their store
Your poppy looks perfect on your card. I love the colours and I'm a poppy lover too. So far I have managed not to succumb to the new oxide inks but my resolve is fast fading when I see the lovely results on other peoples cards. Hugs Mrs A.

Absolutely gorgeous, Joan! I love it - you certainly can't beat a good poppy. Your oxide background sets it off perfectly. 6 more colours fell into my basket today at stamp Magic including the worn lipstick. They are such fun to play with aren't they?
