While I had the stamp out to make the card below I made a few simpler versions although by the time I had made eight of them I decided I had seen enough of Santa for now! I think it would have been better without the twine but now its there its staying ! I found a pack of gold cards so I used them as a base, I do like the sizzex border embossing folder, just took off the blank look at the bottom of the card, didn't want to trim the card down as there are also envelopes of the right size in the pack. I am trying not to do my usual trick of making a load of cards and then finding I have no envelopes to fit, I hate making envelopes !

ReplyDeleteI like the twine, I love the card. Pleased to see your Christmas card mojo is back. You sound like me, I find a card I like make a number then get sick and start on another batch. Caz
ReplyDeleteWell Joan you are not alone, trust me when you cannot find an envelope to fit the card, you would think we card makers would make it easy for ourselves and make the card to fit an envelope!
ReplyDeleteThis card is lovely, I love the different textures, you have used, the twine will suit some people and not others, so I would not worry too much about it.
Smiles:)
