Oh Joy ! I finally got to make a card I really enjoyed doing, when I saw Make It Monday challenge I couldn't wait to get going and make a card just for the pleasure of doing it. Think I have spent too long making cards that I thought would sell or specific cards for various birthdays etc. Took a piece of Melissa Frances paper and stamped various images on it from an Inkilicious set (those of us who remember pre decimal money - I think the money is added up wrong ! I make it 21/6d ! ) Sad aren't I !!! Used my new Marianne Oval die, some lace I bought on holiday in Greenwich (gorgeous little shop selling wooden buttons/lace etc) stamp from personal impressions and the metal tape measure charm I have been hoarding.

Hi Joan, this is an absolutely beautiful card - I totally get what you mean about commission cards, it is easy to get bogged down. This is a beauty though, love all the elements and that gorgeous image of the lady. Love it! Crafty hugs, Anne x

Fabulous card, I have just got these stamps but not had a chance to play yet. Makes me want to get started, pity the craft table is such a mess.

Lovely card, how clever of you to find something pre 1972 to add to it. Not sure about the sum I cant really see what the first number is, but I do remember LSD, not the hallucinogenic drug.
ReplyDeleteStunning, I love it. I am so pleased you enjoyed the Vintage Fashion challenge, more vintage coming up during September. All of your additional elements so add to it's beauty and style. Loving the tape measure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card with us at MMM. Hope to see you again. Caz DT Team
