Lindsay Mason Class

I Have had a place on the Lindsay Mason class booked for weeks and was really looking forward to it
All this week I have been thinking I would have to cancel as I was sure I wouldn't be able to do the cards with my hands as they are, however I decided at least I could sit and watch and there is nothing wrong with my mouth so could at least have a natter. Anyhow with the help of others on the class and the lovely Lindsay I did complete one card and have just finished off the other tonight. I was totally exhausted and ended up sleeping for several hours when I got home but it was worth it!  I love Lindsay's quirky stamps and she is such a friendly and helpful lady.
I am seeing the Consultant on Monday and I am hoping to get at least some decent pain relief and find out exactly what's going on. I am so fed up of not being able to do anything, I don't mind so much I can't do the housework but I am so missing my crafting!

  3. So pleased to hear you went to the class Joan and it sounds like you had fun as well, Lindsay is a lovely lady.

I hope you manage to get some pain relief, I know from experience arthritis can wear you down, especially when it keeps you awake at night.

  4. I'm so glad that you enjoyed yesterday Joan and great to see your finished cards. They look brilliant!
I really hope the consultant can shed some light on what is causing the problems with your hands - my sister has similar problems and I know just how frustrating and painful it can be.
All the best and hope to see you again soon, Lindsay x

  10. Hello Joan
    How frustrating for you.
One feels so miserable when in constant pain, and it is depressing, so I am hoping that you will at least receive some positive news when you visit the specialist.
You have done remarkably well in the circumstances with your cards as they look terrific.
    Smiles:)
