Spring colours

Inspired by Brenda's card I thought I'd have another play with brushos, not the most successful play but the colours were more or less what I wanted, no idea what kind of bird this is but I added very little extra colour to it so I'm going to call it a bluebird. Used my watercolour pencils to add colour to the blossom and leaves. The stamp is Stampendous nestled bird and the sentiment is HobbyArt.

I'd like to enter this into Flonzcraft Vintage Stamping Challenge - Bring on Those Spring colours
and
Sunday Stamper - Birds

I was sure I'd posted this on Monday night but just found it sitting in posts as a draft!  Woke up in the early hours of Monday nights with a terrible stomach bug , spent most of this week in bed, now got the dreadful cough as well, I'm assuming its the dreaded virus that's been sweeping our village like the plague. Been unable to have anything but boiled water all week, drastic type of diet!  weak as a kitten and off back to bed.

  3. Lush colours Joan, looks like the cobalt blue at the top, one of may favs with all the different colours that it gives out. And what a lovely and very true sentiment as well.

Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card with us at FlonzCraft Vintage Stamping Challenges and hope you have a good weekend.
