Blooms

This month at Stamping Sensations its Anything Goes ( with a stamp!)  as we are a stamping challenge you must use stamps to be eligible for the prize.  This month we are sponsored by Foil Play who are offering this lovely prize.

For my card I have used some of my home made spray inks for the background with a bit of stencilling, splattering and text stamping. Stamped the flower stems and then stamped and fussy cut the flowers heads and glued them on top of the stalks, I am hopeless at lining up these flowers with the stalks so find it easier to do it that way!

  1. A really striking creation Joan and a super inky background to set off the lovely blooms.

  3. This looks great Joan and I really like your inky background. I tried making my own sprays but without much success but you certainly mastered it. I've done the same thing myself on occasion with the flower heads. I think it gives a card dimension. I always start off by stamping it directly but if it doesn't look right, then out come the scissors :) Sandra X

  5. A Beautifully inky and gorgeous creation, Joan! I love it! Those flowers are beautiful. I too struggle with lining up stems and often finish them off with a fine pen

  6. This is so lovely and summery, Joan! Gorgeous flowers and gorgeous background too. I find it tricky lining up flowers and stems, but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to do all that cutting out as perfectly as you have!
