Stitch It

Time for another challenge at Try It On Tuesday and this time we would like you to Show Us Some Stitching (Real or faux)  I have dusted off my sewing machine for this one as I have machine stitched the top layer to the black layer and also stitched on the Ric Rac braid.   The main image is a Just Rite background stamp stamped onto an oxide distress ink background, I did have to stamp it several times in the Misti to get a half decent impression as I had also used textured card. Die cut the little dressmakers dummy and thread reel and added scraps of lace and Ric Rac. The sentiment was from a bargain bin at Port Sunlight a lot of years ago and no idea of the make.

  1. Gorgeous piece, so well sewn and lovely colours. Hugs, Valerie

  11. Cute! Aren't you glad you dusted off your machine?! This would be a cute card for a bridal shower or even like a teen girl's event.
