Mum's The Word

Time for a new challenge at Try It On Tuesday and this time it is Mum's The Word, could be mother and child, animal families, Quotes about mothers or mothers day cards etc I spend a lot of time searching around amongst my ridiculous amount of stamps to try and get some inspiration and came across this very old Stamps Happen stamp which I don't remember actually ever using, that company did such beautiful stamps with lovely coloured images on the wooden block that I could not bring myself to "deconstruct" them when I did remove a lot of stamps from their blocks. The background is a piece of ink sprayed paper from my heap of backgrounds, there is a bit of stencilling on there too but it hardly shows. The butterfly was in my bits and pieces box and the ribbon  and doily from my stash. Hope to see you joining in our challenge.

  1. What a beautiful card and stamp Joan, gorgeous colours you've used too. I have lots of stamps that I've bought over the years and not used yet.
