Birds and/or feathers

The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is Birds and/or feathers. My first dilemma was which stamps to use as I seem to have a rather large collection of bird stamps accumulated over the years, I finally settled on yet another old set of stamps, this time from Oxford Impressions, I have made a page for my little Kraft journal using inky background, some stencilling and layers of stamping. It looked a bit flat so I thought it would be a good idea to drag out the sewing machine and sew round it, big mistake ! had to unpick the first try and by the time I'd finally finished the sewing took longer than making the page .The design team have some fabulous inspiration over on the challenge blog so hope you will pay them a visit

  2. You have an amazing collage of bird images, Joan. I love how you put everything together. And even though the sewing took longer than expected, it added the perfect frame for this page.
