Somewhere Over The Rainbow....

This month at Stamping Sensations challenge the theme is Over The Rainbow,  we want to see your STAMPED entries showing the colours of the rainbow ( Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo and violet)

For my card I have used a piece of watercolour card and after wetting the paper applied bands of  all seven colours across it, letting the colours blend into each other. Stamped and fussy cut the three Hero Arts butterflies out of another piece of watercolour paper treated in the same way. The Three flowers are Woodware stamps and were stamped onto a piece of cards randomly splodged (technical term!) with acrylic paint and then fussy cut. The wording stamp was free with a magazine last year.
There are some lovely cards by the design team over on the challenge blog so hope you will pop over  and have a look

  6. A beautiful card Joan. I like how you've used gently rainbow colours in the background and then such bright and bold colours on your flowers. I couldn't make it to the Harrogate show yesterday but I've heard that it was a bit of a nightmare. Lets hope they have a bigger venue next year. Wishing you a happy and colourful week x
