Powder your ....

New challenge at Try It On Tuesday and today it is " Powder your.... "  use any kind of powder on your entry, embossing powders, mica powders, Brusho powders etc, please tell us what you have used. For my card I have used Brusho powders to create the background, I stamped the inkylicious poppies with black ink on the red areas of the background and embossed them with clear embossing powder, I added extra colour to the flowers with watercolour paint and added the little butterflies. The sentiment was bought from Stamp Camp when they used to come to Port Sunlight ,hence the American spelling of colour, a bit irritating but I do like the wording.

  1. Brushos seem to be the powder of choice and I have never seen it in my craft stores. Your flowers are gorgeous, and I like how you used clear embossing powder to add that special sparkle, too.

  8. Oh, I miss Stamp Camp - they were the highlight of Port Sunny for me when they were there...as were Lost Coast. This is a lovely, delicate card, Joan - you've coloured it beautifully and the words are just great.

  12. An absolutely gorgeous card Joan, using a set of stamps that I haven't used for ages. Brushos are one of my favourite mediums to use, so I'll have to see if I can find the time to join you all in this challenge. Your card is beautiful x

  15. What a beautifully blended background Joan it's all so dreamy. I have to agree it can be annoying when we come across a great font but the spelling is different to what we would use but I think that with the ease of words within the world there are not many that would pick up on it. I love those poppies!!
Playing catch up with the TioT ladies so sorry I am late to the party but Thank you for sharing.
