Go Green

 Todays new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is "Go Green"  either the colour or to go green by recycling etc.  Today for my card I have done both, I have recycled a card I made a long time ago with white embossing and an old Hero Art stamps.  The design have some fabulous samples over on the challenge blog so I am hoping you will pay them a visit. There are two weeks to enter this challenge and anything goes as long as it follows the theme

Lets get messy

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is "Lets get messy"  any type of medium is fine as long as it follows the theme.  My get messy is a page in my small kraft journal which is makinly made from mop up papers from earlier messier projects, I just added a bit of stencilling  and stamping, water coloured the butterfly and added a few bits and pieces.  The mop up paper by the way is from a roll of wallpaper lining paper which is quite old and has got a nice aged look to it to start with !

All you need is love

 

The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is All you need is love, almost Valentines day so hoping to see plenty of love on your entries !  All mediums are welcome as long as the challenge theme is included, For my card the background is a gelli plate play, added extra stamping vines , birds and hearts.  The bunnies are Crafty Individual stamps and the wording computer generated.

Winter Blues

 Time for our new challenge over at Try It on Tuesday and this time it is "Winter Blues"  The design team have some lovely inspiration for you over on the challange blog so I hope you will pay them a visit. For my card I have used a background made using my round gelli plate and distress inks, the animal stamps are Lavinia and I can't remember where the bird stamp is from. I'll probably put this is my Christmas card box for next year !

 We're halfway through our challenge of In With The New on Try It On Tuesday and the design team have more inspiration for you over on the challenge blog so hope you will pay them a visit.  For my card I have used a Studio Light Stamp which as a Christmas gift, painted with watercolours and I have decoupaged some bits of it too.

 I haven't got my brain in gear since Christmas and completely forgot to do my post for the

Try It On Tuesday Challenge which started last Tuesday. As the first challenge of 2023 the challenge is "In with the new", this can be new products, a new technique or anything else as long as it follows the challenge theme. The design team have , as usual< lots of lovely inspiration for you over on the challenge blog.  For my "new"  I have used a new Visible Image stamp and a print from my round gelli plate . Hope you will join in with our challenge.

Vintage Santa

 Time for the new challenge at Try It On Tuesday and this time " It's all about Santa"  .  All my Santa stamps are vintage types so I've been in the box of Christmas bits and pieces and made a vintage style card.  .  The design team have some lovely inspiration over on the challenge blog and I hope you will pay them a visit.  

Winter wonderland

 It's begiining to look a lot like winter !  The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is Winter Wonderland.

For my card I used a Sweet Poppy frame stencil and stamped in the middle with a Nellie Snellen winter scene, added a die cut tree and lots of glitter for winter sparkle.  The design team have some lovely inspiration over on the challenge site so I hope you will py them a visit.

Traditional Christmas

Time for another challenge on Try It On Tuesday and this time we asking for Tradional Christmas , any kind of project is welcome as long as it follows the theme.  The design time have lovely samples over on the challenge site so I hope you will pay them a visit.For my card I have used an old Stampendous stamp that I really love, comes out most Christmases!  The background embossing is also an oldie, free with a magazine a few years ago. I do have a massive amount of Christmas stamps but seem to gravitate more to the older ones, maybe because I do like the more traditional style..

Sparkle and shine

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is "Sparkle and Shine" these three ladies are certainly sparkling away , lots of glitter on this card but doesn't show up on here sadly.  Lots of inspiration over on the challenge blog so please pay the design team a visit.  Art Impressions stamp and a Penny Black sentiment.

Halloween

 The new challenge at Try it on Tuesday is Halloween. the design team hve some great inspiration over on the challenge site so I hope you will visit them.  Any kind of project is welcome as long as it follows the theme so hope you will join in with the challenge. For my journal page I have used a Crafty Individual stamp for the main image, the foliage, trees and bats are from various other sets. I don't have much inthe way of Halloween stuff but I do like this crow/raven and also the wording stamp of the words from the Edgar Alan Poe Raven poem, I did sit and read the whole poem again last night ,very strange !

Autumn Scene

 The new challenge at Try It On Tuesday is Autumn colours or scene.  For my card I have used an old Artistic Outpost stamp and some die cut leaves. I hope you will vist the challenge blog and see the great samples made by the design team.

Emboss it ( Wet or dry)

 How fast the weeks flash by and it's time for a new challenge at Try it On Tuesday.  This time we would like to see your embossed projects be it heat or dry embossing.  For my sample I have used an embossing folder I have had for a long time , not sure of the make, I call it  a steampunk manequin .  coloured with distress inks and a bit of background stamping, faux stitching to finish it off.  Hope you will visit the challenge blog and enjoy the lovely samples made by the design team.

Autumn colours

 Last night I unearthed a folder full of papers, stamped images and die cuts all in autumnal colours, as I'm trying to use some of my previously stamped/ inked up stuff I had  a play and ended up with three finished cards and this is one of them, the tree stamp in the middle is one of my favourite Crafty Individual stamps and has been very well used over the years! I think the woodgrain stamp is Stampin Up and no idea whose the dies are.  I'd like to enter this into a couple of challenges
